Grocery Delivery to Your Mallorca Villa - What Are Your Options?
You've landed at Palma Airport. It's 35 degrees, the kids are tired, the cases are heavy, and someone has just remembered that nobody packed any milk.
For most families and couples arriving at a Mallorca holiday rental, villa, finca or apartment, the first stop isn't the beach, it's a supermarket. After a long flight, that's the last place anyone wants to be.
It doesn't have to go that way. Grocery delivery to Mallorca villas is entirely possible, but the options vary a lot in effort, reliability and cost. Here's an honest rundown of what's actually available, so you can pick what suits your trip.

Option 1: Order from a Spanish supermarket online
The big Spanish chains, Mercadona, Eroski, El Corte Inglés and Alcampo, all deliver across Mallorca. In theory you can order from home before you fly and have the groceries waiting.
In practice it takes work. The websites are mostly in Spanish, navigation can be confusing, and slots get tight in July and August. Delivery windows run two to three hours, so someone has to be at the villa to take the order, which is difficult when you are still at the car hire desk. Add minimum order thresholds, substitutions you did not ask for and the occasional no-show, and it can eat the afternoon.
Best for: budget-conscious travellers who are comfortable with Spanish websites and can guarantee someone is at the villa to receive the delivery.
Option 2: Ask your villa host or property manager
Many Mallorca property managers include a welcome pack: a few bottles of water, some coffee, perhaps a bottle of wine. Some will arrange a full shop for you for a fee.
Quality varies enormously. Some hosts work with good local suppliers and have a properly stocked kitchen waiting. Others message a local contact who grabs a bag from the nearest petrol station.
If your host offers it, ask the specific questions: what is included, does it arrive before check-in, and can you change anything.
Best for: guests staying with a host who has an established, transparent grocery service. Always worth asking.
Option 3: A local delivery or concierge service
Several independent grocery and concierge services operate around Mallorca, mostly in the southwest around Palma and Calvià and up in the Bay of Alcúdia. They will shop and deliver to the villa, usually for a flat fee or a percentage of the shop.
The advantage is that you can send a full list and they will source exactly what you want, including specific brands and dietary requirements. The disadvantage is cost and coverage. These services tend to be expensive, need plenty of notice, and may not reach your part of the island.
Best for: guests with complex or very specific requirements.
Option 4: A pre-arrival pack service
Rather than replicating a full supermarket shop, a pack service brings a thought-through set of essentials: good Spanish products, the things you need on day one, and holiday extras like wine for the terrace or kit for the beach.
The difference is in the timing and the arrival itself. A pack is timed to when you get there, with your drinks chilled to your preference, and where the property gives access before check-in it goes inside with the perishables in the fridge. You walk in and the kitchen is ready.

Build Your Own is the option most people take. There is a €50 minimum and no limit on how much you add, so it works whether you want a short arrival list or a full week, and it is the easy answer if you have allergies, fussy eaters or a brand you cannot do without. Best for: guests who want the kitchen ready when they walk in without organising anything, and hosts who want to give their guests a good first hour.

The honest answer
If you are price-sensitive and happy with the logistics, a Spanish supermarket delivery works perfectly well. Give yourself plenty of time, book the slot early, and make sure someone can be at the villa for the window.
If you would rather arrive to a kitchen that is already sorted, without organising anything from home, a pack is the easier route. The first few hours set the tone for the rest of the week, and walking in to breakfast covered and a cold drink ready makes more difference than it sounds like it should.

Do you only deliver to villas, or to fincas and apartments too?
Any holiday rental. Villas, fincas, apartments, townhouses and holiday homes booked through Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or an agency are all the same to us. Rural fincas are some of our most common deliveries, because they are usually furthest from a supermarket.
